Dear Novell community,

I have a dsl broadband connection with a modem and router. My workstation is
currently connected directly to the router and I have set the gateway of my
pc to the router (192.168.1.1). I can work without a problem (http, ftp,
irc, everything). Now I want to have a BorderManager server between my
router and workstation that logs my internet traffic. I want access rules
for http, ftp, etc. I know I can set my computer to use a proxy server, but
that doesn't work for (for example) irc. Is it possible that I set my
workstations gateway to the new Bordermanager server (192.168.1.2) and let
the Bordermanager server act like a router, but still have access rules and
logging enabled?

I have BorderManager 3.8 Enterprise Edition.

Regards, John
