I'm trying to figure out a more efficient way of imaging my machines. Currently I need to run around and physically hit each machine after imaging to name them. If I let Zen rename the machines it will mess up the naming done by sysprep. Therefore I need to either not use the naming portion of the image safe data or make sure the name in sysprep matches the image safe data name.

My idea is to use sysprep to get my machines up and running, let image safe data rename my machines, and the use auto admin logon to run netdom and join my domain. Doing this my machines will be named correctly and joined to the network correctly.

Does this make sense? I want to take advantage of the naming through zen to cut back on the work. Either that or image my machines without disrupting the computer name, SSID, and domain membership.
