I have never been able to do any shell script, so I sorta felt like a
"wannabe" claiming to know some Linux stuff yet not having a clue about
shell scripting. If any of you are like that but want to learn, I highly
recommend the online one-day ATT class Novell offers on BASH shell
scripting. I took the class a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you it
was awesome. It starts off very basic and moves on to more and more
complex topics throughout the day. I finally started using some of the
knowledge yesterday as I work on some scripts for work, and wow I have to
admit I had no idea how powerful this stuff can be. And I've barely
scratched the surface!
