NW6sp3, BM3.7sp2

My proxy tries to bind twice to following private NIC instances (same
NIC):

N1000_1 IPX Gigabit Adapter
N1000_2 IP Gigabit Adapter.

Proxy tries/fails to bind to IPX N1000_1 instance, then binds correctly
to N1000_2 IP instance (and works just fine).

in INTRFACE.CFG, I see:

# This file is maintained by FILTSRV.NLM
# TAMPERING WITH THIS FILE MAY CAUSE SEVERE MALFUNCTIONING OF THE
SYSTEM.

FILE SYS:\ETC\INTRFACE.CFG
VERSION 1.0

BEGIN_INTERFACE
NAME N1000_1
PUB_PRIV PRIVATE
END_INTERFACE

BEGIN_INTERFACE
NAME N100_1_EII
PUB_PRIV PUBLIC
END_INTERFACE

BEGIN_INTERFACE
NAME N1000_2
PUB_PRIV PRIVATE
END_INTERFACE

BEGIN_INTERFACE
NAME VPTUNNEL
PUB_PRIV PRIVATE
END_INTERFACE

-----------------------------------------------------
Why does an IPX instance show here? Also shows in FILTCFG/Interfaces -
can't delete it, can only toggle "public/private".

The only place I can think of deleting it is in INTRFACE.CFG, but
there's that warning not to manually edit the file.

What else can I do?

Thanks
