Our application, an MS Visual C# 2005 application, does the following, using
Groupwise 7.01:

- Appointments are read from a GroupWise account via the Groupwise Object

- The user can then change details like the time or the text of that

- After the user has made some changes, the application writes those changes
into the Groupwise Account.

The only way we've found to do this is to delete the original appointment
and create a new appointment which is basically identical to the original
one except for the changes the user made, and add the new one to the
calendar folder. The problem is that the deletion of the original
appointment triggers the sending of cancellation messages to all
participants of the appointment.

Is there a way to suppress these messages via the Groupwise Object API?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards, Martin Schmidt.
