Hello there,

I just upgraded from 7 to 8. Things went okay. A few bugs here and there but I managed to get through it.

I got the client installed and configure to push out with SetupIP, and that really cool utility from Tommy M, that allows for non-admin users to upgrade the GroupWise client.

So, tested it all out and get kinda stuck.

When the users launch the Groupwise client, they are prompted with an GroupWise Security Warning. GroupWise does not recognise the Certificate Authority that issued the certificate of the post office that you are connecting to....

Now, I purchased an SSL certificate (wildcard) and am using it for the GroupWise system, from Digicert. Digging a little further in viewing the certificate, I see that "Windows does not have enough information to verify this certificate. So my assumption goes to that this really isn't a direct GroupWise issue, but rather some Winders issue.

Be that as it may be, I still don't know how to fix the problem. Yes, users can just press "Accept" and things work. But, that really isn't a fix.

Any ideas?

Tom
