Before bringing our first SUSE server online, I wanted our last two NW 6.5 servers running the latest SP. This weekend I installed NW 6.5 SP8 and eDir 8.8 on the two 6.5 servers. Previously one of the servers was running CIFS.

After installing 6.5 SP8 CIFS seemed to be messed up. Using iManager I recreated the CIFS setup. Now 3 Windows 2000 servers and 2 Windows 2003 servers can access the CIFS shares. Problem is that our Windows 2000 Terminal Server and a Windows 2003 Domain Controller can not. So 5 servers no problem, but "Net Use" CIFS share fails from the other two.

Below is the output from CIFS INFO:
Server - "FSERVER_W"
Comment - ""
Authentication - "Domain (passthrough)"
Domain - "NTDOMAIN"
Oplocks - Disabled
DFS - Disabled
Unicode - Enabled
Domain Add-on - Disabled
SMB Signatures - Optional
Share point - "VOL1"
Share point - "VOL2"

Below is a DSTrace log that shows a login failure:

Absolutely no idea why 5 servers are fine but 2 are not.
Any thoughts ???
Thanks
