I have OES2 SP1 server with the latest patches up and running... Then when I add CIFS as an add-on product, It just doesn't work right. After troubleshooting... CIFS installation should add an extension called "nfapCIFSConfigInfo" to the server object. For whatever reason it didn't. The installation went successfully without any error. Cifs service started on the server and seem to be fine. However, configuring Cifs through Imanager depends on these nfap attributes which my server is lacking therefore Imanager giving me error like

"The server's eDirectory distinguished name is invalid or doesn't represent an NCP Server object" or "CIFS is not currently running on this server".

Manually extending the server object didn't help... But It shouldn't be this way either.

Any help would be appreciate.. thanks
