I'm having issues partitioning and configuring NSS on OES 2.

I have SLES 10 SP2 and OES SP 1.
I have two drives: Drive A is a single drive at 136GB. Drive B is RAID 5 408 GB

I am putting the /boot /(root) and swap on Drive A.

Per the LAB guide I need to create an EVMS container so I wanted to do this on Drive B. So, I create the container on Drive B.

How do I create the logical volumes on Drive B? I'm concerned that carving up the container with logical volumes for /usr, /var, /opt, etc., may affect how NSS is configured. So in a sense, how is NSS affected by carving up the container into logical volumes?
