With the basic SLES 11 system in place, I would like to build up the edirectory, ifolder maybe zenworks etc onto the system. SLES does not seem to use the Yast package manager for this, and all the guides for this sort of thing instruct downloading tarballs and going from there. Is there a way to have yast manage the package (in ubuntu for example, you add the url address to package source repository and apt takes care of the rest).
I suppose the main problem is that SLES does not have such url based repositories for automatic download and that Novell wants such processes to be done by user logins?
