My daughter was on MySpace on her Mac. She got a popup that said her system
was infected with various viruses and needed to be checked immediately. She
hit "cancel" and this bogus page popped up and ran anyway and told her that
her "Local Disk (c):" had 346 trojans, and her "Local Disk (d had 142
trojans! Then she was told to download the "fix".

While this is of course very clever, it amazes me that it isn't clever
enough to realize she's on a Mac, has no drive c:, only has one drive so
there is no d:, and we're on to them big time!
