As this is my first post here and still quite new to SOAP please bear with me.

I am trying to write a SOAP request (using asp.net ) that will create a posted appointment in a specific GroupWise account. I have successfully logged into a test user account using SOAP with a trusted application request; however there does not seem any obvious way to created a posted appointment via SOAP and each attempt at creating an appointment I try appears in the test user account as a sent appointment awaiting normal acceptance.

This is a SOAP trace of what is being sent

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<soap:Header>
<session xmlns="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types">HLReLFGixDXjjIXngb</session>
</soap:Header>
<soap:Body>
<sendItemRequest xmlns="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/methods">
<item xmlns:q1="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types" xsi:type="q1:Appointment">
<q1:delivered>0001-01-01T00:00:00</q1:delivered>
<q1:subject>test appointment</q1:subject>
<q1:distribution>
<q1:recipients>
<q1:recipient>
<q1:email>testuser@mydomain.com</q1:email>
</q1:recipient>
</q1:recipients>
</q1:distribution>
<q1:message>

</q1:message>
<q1:startDate>2009-04-28T13:00:00</q1:startDate>
<q1:endDate>2009-04-28T14:00:00</q1:endDate>
<q1:place>My Desk</q1:place>
</item>
</sendItemRequest>
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>

Is this possible via SOAP? If so could someone provide a simple example to illustrate how to achieve this please?
