We have written a C# Application accessing Groupwise via the GroupWise
Object API.

We have observed a strange exception popping up now and then after
trying to access a message attached to another message:

05.05.2009 12:04:53 Error An error occurred in allocating memory.
at System.RuntimeType.ForwardCallToInvokeMember(Strin g memberName,
BindingFlags flags, Object target, Int32[] aWrapperTypes, MessageData&
at GroupwareTypeLibrary.DIGWMessage3.get_MessageID()
com.vivex.archiveconnector.groupwise.GroupWiseInte rfaces.OAPIGroupWise.GetMessage(Message3
fullmsg, GroupWiseRetrievalSettings settings, Boolean noFilter, Boolean
com.vivex.archiveconnector.groupwise.GroupWiseInte rfaces.OAPIGroupWise.FillAttachments(GWMessage
msg, Message3 fullmsg, GroupWiseRetrievalSettings Settings,
GroupWiseRetrievalFilter Filter)
com.vivex.archiveconnector.groupwise.GroupWiseInte rfaces.OAPIGroupWise.FillMessageFields(GWMessage
gwmsg, Message3 fullmsg, GroupWiseRetrievalSettings Settings,
GroupWiseRetrievalFilter Filter)

It seems to have nothing to do with the actual amount of space reserved
for the application, because right after the exception occurs, other
messages can be accessed just fine, and the amount of memory reserved
when the exception occurs varies.

The emails affected by the exception, meaning the emails to which the
faulty emails are attached, can also not be accessed through the
GroupWise Client anymore, although they still show up in the folders.

Is the cause of this exception known? Is there a way to repair these emails?

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards, Martin Schmidt.
