I don't know if BM officially supports clustering, but it would seem that it would be possible to create redundant BM servers and use clustering just to move secondary ip address bindings.

I have parallel BM servers configured. With dead-end gateway detection and multiple ip's assocated with my proxy dns entry, I can have somewhat transparent failover between the two systems (assuming the failure is complete, not partial). The only issue that I have are the secondary ip addresses and associated static NAT mappings for GWIA and my Web server. Creating a simple cluster without shared storage would seem to solve this problem depending on how NAT handles this situation.

Can I have a static NAT mapping for an ip that isn't currently bound and then when it is bound, have NAT work properly?

Does this make sense?
