Hi,

I'm working on deploying a new OES2sp1 cluster and have started delving into CIFS. Everything works fine if you use the node name to connect through CIFS. If you try to use the clustered resource name, windows can't find the share.

The problems seems to be in the way the resource is being loaded. The cluster resource script runs this command:

novcifs --add --vserver=.cn=STU07_POOL.ou=Servers.ou=Students.o=x. t=x. --ip-addr=x.x.x.x

novcifs reports success, but the cifs.log file says different:

May 8 11:41:54 stuhome1 CIFS[19782]: INFO : ENTRY: CIFSNDSReadFromNDS: WorkGroup/Domain Name [].

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff
