Running MLA license with NetWare 6.5 servers over WAN links.

Currently license is ONLY installed once, high in tree.

According to TID 10065231, as they are MLA licenses I can install these on a local read/write partition so they are *local* to the server in case the WAN link goes down.

Before I set off doing this, I was wondering if it is worthwhile:

1. How often does NW6.5SP8 actually read up through the tree to find the license ?

i.e. under what circumstances would a broken WAN link prevent people from being able to login ?

2. What amount of WAN traffic and tree walking would be involved ?

i.e. Will installing a local license reduce login times or WAN traffic ?

Anyone ? Anyone ??
