I am a complete newby at LINUX so I have no idea what I am doing. I have also tried UBUNTU and have the book " in Easy Steps by Mike Mcgrath" but still cant find the answer, so here goes. On my PC I have two hard drives and in windows they are C and D. I Linux I think they are SDA1 and SDB1 but I am not sure. If that is the case how do i save all my Doc's and pic's onto the second drive as i do in windows so that if the software crashes I can flatten the drive and reinstall the software all over again to make sure that I have got rid of the problem as I do in WINDOWS quite regulary. I hope that I have explained myself clearly enough.
