Hi,

I trying to make working iprint on nss clustered volume.
So move iprint account and iprint group to edirectory and lum enabled them.

On the server console, I have this result :

srvname:~ # namuserlist iprint
iprint:x:408:107::/media/nss/DONNEES/var/opt/novell/iprint:/sbin/nologin
srvname:~ # namgrouplist iprint
iprint:x:107:iprint

When I set ownership on a file which is on a POSIX volume it works fine :

srvname:/tmp # ls -l
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 Jun 10 12:09 test
srvname:/tmp # chown iprint:iprint test/
srvname:/tmp # ls -l
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 iprint iprint 48 Jun 10 12:09 test

But when I do this on a file which is on an NSS voume it's strange :

srvname:/media/nss/IPP_DRVSTR/var/opt/novell/iprint # ls -l
total 0
drwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Jun 9 15:44 htdocs
drwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Jun 10 09:21 resdir
srvname:/media/nss/IPP_DRVSTR/var/opt/novell/iprint # chown iprint:iprint resdir/
srvname:/media/nss/IPP_DRVSTR/var/opt/novell/iprint # ls -l
total 0
drwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Jun 9 15:44 htdocs
drwxrwxrwx 1 iprint root 0 Jun 10 09:21 resdir

Only the user is set. I tried whith other lum enable group and it's the same result.

Is there a reason for that behavior ?

Regards,

Sebastien
