I am looking for a way to overwrite an existing config file on an agent machine. I had assumed that there would be an option to use a text file policy to overwrite or replace the contents of an existing file. I do not see such an option, though - only an option to create the file if it does not exist. Maybe I could do a pre-change action to run a script that deletes the file first?
I want to overwrite /etc/ldap.conf on a large group of agent machines. Does anyone know of a way to do that, other than using a remote execute policy to execute a script to do this, or using a text file policy to search/replace all the items I want changed?
