I have an app (mail server) running that has a configurable timeout for
TCP/IP connections, but something is causing it to timeout much sooner
than it is set for. Specifically, the timeout is set to 300 seconds but
it is timing out after 20 seconds. Which makes me think perhaps
BorderManager has a timeout which is superceding the app's setting.
(View log below to see what I'm talking about.) Is it possible that BMgr
is causing the 20-second timeout, and if so, could I change that to 30
seconds? It would solve my inability to send mail to Hotmail.com if I
could. (Hotmail servers take about 25 seconds to respond to my mail
server's SMTP connection request.) TIA - JR
