Hi We have 2 node OES2SP1 (latest fixes applied) Cluster Servers on HP

We use HP Data protector (6.0 plus hot fixes)

Every two days the server falls over during backup. Cluster fails over
to the other server and then the other server falls over...

I have noticed that /var/log/messages is flooded with (These appear when
the backups run.)

SERVERNAME kernel: OID_AddEntryIfNotThere - Unable to map GUID to DN
using NCP eDir

I plan to change the backup so I can see which Volume(s) are giving
these errors.. At the moment I am unsure..

Also I suspect HP DataP.. is taking all the resources... Here are two
TOPS The first is from a server NOT hosting any volumes and the second
is from the server hosting ALL volumes whilst the backup is running..

Tomorrow I will check the server once the back has completed to see if
the resources have been returned..
