Our CLA is due up for renewal soon, and I'll shortly have to decide
whether to pay the annual "upgrade protection" for BorderManager.

With the uncertainty about BM3.9, no clear upgrade path to NSM (and
judging by other's comments, no real desire to go down that route
anyway), and Novell's refusal to fix simple bugs (supernetting anyone?),
would I be better putting the cash towards a dedicated firewall and
Squid setup? Or am I being pessimistic and there is actually some hope
for BM in the future?
