I would like your opinion....
I've worked for multiple consulting organizations over the years. Two stand out in my mind:
1) the salesperson to consultant ratio was 1:12
2) the salesperson to consultant ratio was 4:7

#2 went down in flames in short order. #1 was wildly successful for several years before financial ruin by upper management brought it down.

What would you say is an appropriate ratio? Obviously it depends somewhat on whether the customers are long-term contracts to as-needed, but there's got to be a guideline where success is most likely.

What do you think that number is?
