Our company wishes to replace their existing MS ISA 2000 firewall with a
BM3.8 firewall/proxy. I am looking for suggestions on how to perform the
changeover smoothly. My thought is to install the BM 3.8 on the new
server using a different internal IP address, configure the BM (with
filters and VPN setup) and perform testing and then when ready to
install, remove the ISA and change over the internal IP address to use
the address of the old ISA box. This method will save me from having to
change all of the proxy settings on the workstations.

My only concern is how much of a problem will changing the Private IP
address on the BM server cause. I have read TID 10088753 and 208136955
but this looks to easy! Is it just a matter of following this couples of
