Hi.

due to email issues I tried

telnet -p 25 <mailserver>

to track down the cause of the trouble.

Telnet opens, presenting the 1st header greeting line of the mail server I'm
accessing, after that I cannot do anything else, I have to unload telnet from the
system console.

When I load the good, old TEL.NLM, everything is fine.

This is fact for several nw6.5.7/8 servers, and different SMTP servers I addressed.

---------- LOAD TEL.NLM somemailserver.de 25 -----------------------

Is this a bug in telnet.nlm, or what do I miss?

Regards, Rudi.
