I've got a server that failed on the OES2 SP1 upgrade. Edirectory refuses to start and somehow the Server Object in the directory is gone. I'm fine with backing up and reinstalling. What I didn't do is backup the NSS volume before the upgrade (I know, should have, was the last server in the district to get upgraded, all the rest did fine). Not even sure if there's any data of any import on it, but I'd like to know before I blow it away.
Regardless, ndsd will not start, which means novell-nss won't start and I can't mount/access the data in the volume. To complicate matters, its an install onto one physical HD via evms.
Is there any way to get that volume to mount without ndsd running? Even if its just locally, I can sftp the data off and reinstall.
