Have a nw6sp5 server running as a VM. It's only doing NSS file access
& ndps for about 200 users & about 50 printers. Has 4GB memory & 1
vcpu allocated & can take whatever it needs when it needs more, running
Sophos Sweep on it too.

Have some times when the server cpu utilization spikes to 100% and
stays there for several minutes. During this time, file access is
horrid & logins don't seem to process well.

I've gone through the settings & set them the same as the physical
server this VM replaced. According to VMWare, the server is using
about 100-300MHz of cpu & about 1.5GB of RAM.

Anything else I can check or set to alleviate this issue? Would adding
another vcpu help at all?
