Host families needed for foreign exchange students

AFS Colorado is still looking for about 6 host families for foreign exchange
students who will be attending Colorado high schools this coming school
year. If you are interesting in hosting a student, or know of anyone who
might be, please let me know. It's not required that you have a high school
student at home, or indeed even any children at home to be a host family!
    Thanks.

Do you have to be married?

Or just a nice person who wants to give a teenager a place to live

(Hint - not everyone in the world is a perv <g>)

We had someone from Germany and someone from Thailand. It's a great
opportunity if you can do it. In fact I spent a week in Thailand this
month visiting one of them that lived with 6 years ago.

No, but you'd never know it from watching the news. :-/

It is indeed. We've had a mix of six Au Pairs/Foreign Exchange students
over the past 7 years though, so we're taking another break

What do I have to commit too? Time, money and all that.

In that case, it's too bad I don't live in Colorado. I live alone in a
    four-bedroom house -- I could accomodate three!
