GroupWise 8 Changes Default Mail Client
We are in the process of testing our planned migration from GW7 to GW8. In our environment we only use GroupWise for its calendaring component – we use Outlook (2003/2007) for our email as a standalone POP/IMAP client. Yes I know, a mess, don’t ask
We’ve configured the GroupWise installer using setup.cfg so the install is simple for the user and we’ve noticed the default behavior is it sets itself as the default mail client (overriding Outlook). This is not desirable for us as we have to deal with over 1500 faculty/staff who potentially use Outlook.
Is there a way to configure the installer so this does not happen?
