We are planning a migration from older server to a new server.
Our production tree already contains a NW 6.5 SP8 server.

Old server: NW 6.5 SP6, eDir
New server: NW 6.5 SP8 eDir 8.8.4 (default versions of SP8)

The older server just houses applications. Zenworks application objects have TAs to some files and directories on this server and provide access rights to some of the application executables and databases.

We have done a quick test migration using Server Consolidation Utility 1.2 between same scenario with some test servers.
This seemed to go smoothly and straight forward. It has been 5+ years since I was involved with my last migration, so just dbl-checking that there aren't any new issues that I need to be concerned with.

1. Do we prep the new server as a pre-migration server? What is different
about a pre-migration server and a basic customized server with just
the basics installed?

2. Any known issues migrating a server which has zenworks 7 apps referring to it.

Anything else?
