Since upgrading from 7.03HP2 to 8.00HP2, we've found a problem with message formatting. One business process requires forwarding messages on to be automatically processed by a third party, and since the upgrade, the formatting of the forwarded message has changed. Although "plain text" is selected in the client, there seems to be some HTML-ish code added to the body of the message, when looking at the message source. Specifically -

{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg65535\deff0
{\fonttbl
{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 Tahoma;
}
}
{\colortbl ;\red255\green0\blue0;
}
{\stylesheet
{\fs20 GroupWiseView;
}
}
\viewkind4\uc1
\pard\lang1033\f0\fs20

This is causing the third-party system to fail with its processing of the message. We didn't used to have this code in the message; I've got some samples from prior to the upgrade and verified that this code wasn't there then. It even happens within the GroupWise system - a message received from outside won't have the code; I forward it within the system, and the forwarded message has the code. So it must be client side. Client MIME-encoding is set to UTF-8, as it was before, and I've tried changing that to ISO Default and Windows Default with no difference.

Anyone have any ideas how to get this code to go away?
