FYI - Just a tip to check your patching mechanism before migrating, as the latest migration patch has over 20+ fixes that will be needed for a successful migration.

The OES2-Updates channel should be active and all migration updates should be installed on OES 2 Linux target servers before attempting NetWare to OES 2 Linux migrations.

The rug ca output for the OES2-Updates channel should look like the example listed below.
If this is the case, and all the appropriate migration updates have been installed, rug lu will also not show any further installable migration related patches.

rug ca example showing the correct OES2-Updates channel:

oes2:~ # rug ca Sub'd? | Name | Service -------+-------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Yes | SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 | SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 Yes | Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 | Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 Yes | SLES10-SP1-Updates | | SLE10-SP1-Debuginfo-Updates | Yes | OES2-Updates |
Please follow TID #3150078 if the OES2-Updates channel is not listed correctly.
TID #3150078 - Updates catalog missing after registration of OES2
Follow the Novell OES 2 documentation to install all the channel updates if this TID resolves the OES2-Updates channel issues.
Note: This will likely require a server reboot. To install all the updates in both the SLES and OES2 channels, without saying "yes" manually to license agreements, do the following:

rug up -t patch -y --agree-to-third-party-licenses oes2-sp1-updates sles10-sp2-updates
Contact the Novell ZEN support team for technical assistance if this TID is not resolving the problem.
