Hi,

Saw this patch announcement in the forum:

Filename: Novell Client 2 for Windows Vista-2008 IR1.exe
Size: 20.08 MB bytes
Document ID: 5055057
Readme: 'Novell Client 2 for Windows Vista-2008 (IR1)'

Title: Novell Client 2 for Windows Vista-2008 (IR1)
Distribution: Public
Security Alert: no
Abstract:
This is an interim release (IR1) of the Novell Client 2 for Windows
Vista-2008. It includes fixes for problems found after the Novell Client
2 for Windows Vista-2008 was released. This is a full client package,
not just a subset of files.

But when you go the to the readme link a message pops us saying that the
patch is obsolete. Uhh, what? How can a patch announced on Aug 8 for a
client released in April be obsolete? Furthermore the readme doc at the
above url says that the exe was last updated in June...

Finally, doing a listing and/or search from the Novell downloads page and/or
the patch finder page shows nothing newer than the initial release of the
2.0 client from April.

So what on earth is going on? Will the real patch / release / update please
stand up?

Thanks!

Ron
