We just configured Shadow volumes on our SLES 10.1 OES2 server. Since this was done, we are having issues with volume access. It seems something happens to the ncp process and samba access seems to work fine. users are unable to access any volumes in Windows, but they can map drives to these volumes with no problems. Samba users have no problems accessing files during this time. This server has the latest patches on it. Any ideas on some things that may cause this? Stopping and restarting ndsd or ncp2nss does nothing. We have to reboot the server.
