Good day,

One of our Netware servers went down early this afternoon. After it came up again, Lappies asked me to try and see if I can figure out what happened.

It is a Netware 6.5 SP5 server, running as part of a cluster.

I had a look in the abend.log, the syslog.err and the console.log

All three these logs contain no entries directly before the server went down, some days before (like the abend log).

The only error message I could find was in the HP Proliant Integrated Management Log Viewer:

12:03 Fatal Exception (Number 14, Cause Abend: Page Fault Running Process: NDPSM 46364974 Code executing in module DPRPCNLM.NLM v3.0q at offset +4733h)

12:03 ASR Lockup Detected: Code executing in module CIOS.NLM v1.50 at offset +3DC8h when ASR NMI occurred.

My question is where else can I look to troubleshoot this problem?

Has anybody else come accros this problem?

Thank you,

Koos Brits
