We're doing some house cleaning, and I noticed a directory at the root of one of my NSS volumes (Traditional NetWare 6.5 sp7) with the extension FPD.

I did some research to find out what the directory is for and why it's there. Mine is empty, so I'm wondering if I can just get rid of it.

The TID tells me that the directory was created during an NSS pool rebuild or verify operation. The name is random and hex. I'm guessing that the next time we need to perform NSS pool operations, the directory, if needed, will be created (with a newly generated name) during the pool operations.

So, what are the thoughts about me clobbering the one I have?
