Hi

If a user creating a file with an ncp connected system and modified this file later, the modification will not applied to a cifs connected system

Environment
Server: Linux SLES10/OES2 Cluster OES2 updated last for 10 days
Client 1: Windows XP with Novell NCP Client
Client 2: Windows 2003 Server connected only with cifs

Both clients connected to the same share:

1. created a text.txt on client 1
2. open a text editor and write 1234 in the first line and save test.txt
3. open the test.txt on client 2 ; it's ok, also 1234 is in the first line. Close the text editor
4. open on client 1 the test.txt again and add a new line with "abcd" and save the test.txt
5. open the test.txt on client 2 ; the file is NOT modified only 1234 is in the first line. close the text editor
6. open on client 1 the test.txt again and add a third line with "xxxx" and save the test.txt
7. open the test.txt on client 2 ;again file is NOT modified only 1234 is in the first line. (but something like spaces after 1234)
8. Modify test.txt on client 2. Add 1234 in the second line.
10. open the file on client one. Nothing changed.

Has everyone also saw this issue?
