I am seeing a problem when users login with the Novell Client (4.91 SP5) using 802.1x. It can take a couple minutes to login in!
The only problem I can see is an error in the event log:
The decription for Event (0) in Source ( NOVEAP.DLL ) cannot be found. The local computers may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the AUXSOURCE=flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: NOVEAP.DLL User username , 802.1x authentication succeeded.
From what I read, this is a non-event, but the login process is held up by it.

If I login using the Microsoft GINA, the 802.1x authentication is speedy quick.
In the end, using the Novell GINA, the workstation is able to authenticate after the delay, and everything is picture perfect on the network side (I have verified with radiusd -X)

It is just a thorn in my side I would wish to resolve.
