Servers running Netware 6.5sp7. Workstations with 32bit XP use NWClient
4.91sp4. Workstations with 64bit Xp or Vista use Microsoft Client (eg CIFs

I'm seeing "COMN-3.26-592 Station X timed out waiting for an op-lock..."
errors on one of my servers.

Recommended practice used to be to have oplock support turned off.

- Set Client File Caching Enabled = OFF
- Set Level 2 Oplocks Enabled = OFF

This is how my servers are set up.

Given the current service pack level for my servers, and the workstation
types noted, is it still a best practice to keep Op-locks turned off? Or
should I turn them on now?
