Scenario:
NW6SP2
BM37SP1

Issue:
Defining filter exceptions for SLP

Details:
I'm about to configure a new BM37 firewall, where SLP-traffic betweendifferent firewall interfaces (NIC's) must be allowed.

Questions:
1. Will the IP-st filter also allow SLP traffic (i.e. igmp/tcp over
port
427)?
2. Or must I use specific filter-exceptions utilizing the
igmp/tcp-igmp/udp
over port 427 destined to the appropriate multicast addresses?
3. What are the main differences between the IP-st and <Any>
protocols?
4. Does the <Any> protocol fully include both the IP, ICMP, IGMP,TCP
and UDP
protocols?
