While installing an iprint printer using the HP UPD 5.0.1 PCL6 driver some workstations get a "Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error just after the printer install completes.

The install seems to take about 5 minutes, other drivers seem to take less than 30 seconds. After rebooting the workstation or running, "net start spooler" printing seems to work as expected.

This does not happen on all workstations. It also happens with many of the newer HP drivers.

Server: SLES 10sp2 (x86_64) + novell-iprint-server 6.1.20090608-0.4.1
Workstations: Windows XP SP3
Novell Client: 4.91sp5 NDPS not selected.
iPrint Client: 5.30
