We are getting ready to rollout out the GroupWise 8.0.1 client to users. We have one user that has over 10,000 items in his mailbox before the upgrade and when he received a new eMail it would show up in his mailbox in a minute (according to the 1 min refresh rate in the client).

Now that he is on GroupWise 8.0.1, it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to show up in the mailbox unless he either manually refreshs or clicks on another folder and back again to his mailbox. I only have 500 items in my mailbox and I do not experience any issues.

I was wondering if this is a limitation of the 8.0.1 client. We have many important users that will be effected by this so I wanted to be proactive.

More info on this issue is that his Blackberry gets the message immediately. That's the only way he knows he has new email and then he refreshes his GroupWise 8 client.
