We have a vendor(ADP) that needs one of our boxes to communicate with
a
specific box out on the internet. I have tried setting up static NAT
and
filters that I thought would allow communication on port 443. They
have
not given me enough information so far to be sure what protocols and
ports
are being used. I have mostly default filters with exceptions for GW

Webaccess and communication to port 443 from high ports and back.
This is
NetWare 5.1 running BM 3.6 and the webserver and agent for GroupWise.
We
run Proxy services and no box other than the BM box communicates with
the
web. With the exception of the one static NAT set up recently, no NAT
is
running

The system is not working and I have tried some troubleshooting but am
not
sure I have the NAT part working. I do not want to shut off filtering

completely as part of the testing. I was thinking about setting up an

exception for all traffic to and from the one host at their end since
I
have the IP address but am a little concerned since I worry about
misconfiguring. What would be the correct entries for filters
assuming
the internal box is NAT from 10.1.1.198 to 12.x.x.85 and the host
contacted was 64.34.2.24(made this one up!)

Thanks,
Bruce
