I have a group of users who connect to an external SQL server (port
5000,
TCP). When I hook a pc up outside the firewall, the connection is
fine
for > 24hrs and is never lost, no matter how long it's idle. When a
pc
connects inside our BM3.6 firewall, the connection is fine until left
idle
for a while - maybe as little as 15 minutes, but definately if left
idle
for an hour. I have a filter exception as follows:

Source Interface : Private
Destination Interface: Public
Packet type: SQLconnect Protocol: TCP
SRC Ports: 1024-65534 Destination ports: 5000
ACK :Disabled Stateful Filter: Enabled

Src address: Any
Destination: HOST
Destination IP: xxx.xx.xx.xx
logging: Disabled

I've never seen any inactivity timeout setting in BM, and don't have
this
problem connecting to any other database (though this is the only one
that
requires port 5000). Any ideas why my users can't stay connected
through
BM?
