Running GroupWise 8 sp1 on NetWare if that matters. We have a helpdesk email address that our internal and external users use to send support questions. We have recently purchased a new helpdesk system that will create tickets automatically from email. This will save us a ton of time.

Here's our issue:
The new system uses its own smtp service, using its internal domain name.

Our email address helpdesk@XXXX.org, the ticket system is helpdesk@XXXX.YYYY.org

How can I make all emails for helpdesk@xxxx.org go to new account that isn't recognizable by groupwise? I cannot do a forward because the FROM will always be from the groupwise system and not the original sender.

I like to keep our helpdesk@XXXX.org if possible.

Or do I just create an external domain of xxxx.yyyy.org and add the external email account with the same user name and deleted XXXXX.org account so when user types helpdesk in email it will choose the new one?
