I am looking to use iFolder as a more robust replacement for Livesync. My orgional plan was to set up an iFolder server, and then install the windows client on my file server and my client laptops. However, I noticed in testing that iFolder is saving all of the files on the iFolder server. I understand this is by design of course. But is it possible to tell iFolder to NOT save the files on the server, just facilitate the copy between the two computers? The main file server will always be online. Another thought, perhaps, is to mount a samba or NFS share off of the windows file server and use that as the data store on the iFolder server. Would iFolder allow that?
