My organisation has recently upgraded our GroupWise client from 7.0.3 to 8.0.1 and we noticed that HTML emails that are automatically generated by one of our systems are not being recognised as being in HMTL. The mails use the iso-8859-1 character set but the client doesn't seem to realise it's in HTML at all - it renders them as plain text.

You can get the mail to display correctly by right-clicking on the content and selecting the encoding you wish to use, but this is frustrating our users as they didn't have to do this on the older version of the client. Can anyone recommend a course of action? I can't find anyone who's had a similar issue and there doesn't seem to be anything I can set client side to control the default behaviour of this kind of mail.
