Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to confirm if this was working as designed, or if there is a problem somewhere.

I made a few simple Group Policy changes:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization > Password protect the screen saver
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization > Screen saver timeout 900 seconds

*Under the "Details" tab of this policy, "Enable the enforcement of this policy" is selected
*"After enforcement, force a re-login on the managed device, if necessary" is unchecked
*"Local Group Policy" is selected, and "User configuration" is selected to be applied on the managed device.

The policy was then applied to a folder full of workstations.

What occurred next was that all devices in the folder were prompted with a dialog stating that there was a change made to group policy settings. Whether the user chose clicked "OK" or simply left the dialog alone, they were automatically logged out. This resulted in several users who were upset because of lost work, and the inability to post-pone the logout.

Is this working as designed, or is there a way for the user to simply reboot when they choose?
