Our GroupWise system is using an smtp relay host. In addition to providing smtp services for the GroupWise system, this host is also providing services for our much larger IMAP community.

To combat outgoing SPAM (we routlinley see fished IMAP accounts being used to send SPAM, which then result in our SMTP server being blocked) we are considering placing a limit on the number of recipeints per envelope on our primary SMTP server.

According to the RFC it looks like the minimum we *should* set this to is 100 recipeints per envelope.

So, if we limit the number of recipients per envelope on our relay host, will the GWIA "chunk" the messages to the proper number of recipients?
