I have Netware 6/sp3, NBmgr 3.7/sp2 and I am using packet filtering,
HTTP proxy & access rules. I have a few people who use pcAnywhere with
the natted private-to-public addresses. I am using the pcAnywhere
filters and access rules (via Craig Johnson's book & his help).

I have been telling the owners that pcanywhere is not a permanent
solution but a temporary one until we can buy a REAL remote access
system. Since pcanywhere works so nicely, they are in no hurry to put
out the money for remote access - even though it is more convenient in
many ways. How bad is the security risk using pcanywhere with
bordermanager and packet filtering?

thank you,
